SAWTOOTH is an Artist Run Initiative in Launceston, Tasmania committed to showcasing contemporary and experimental art by local, national and international artists at various stages of their professional career.

Sawtooth ARI offers four separate exhibition spaces, a member’s hub and a multi-purpose project space.

SAWTOOTH is particularly interested in projects that focus on: • The promotion of Tasmanian emerging artists • A contemporary experimental arts practice • The promotion of national contemporary arts practice in the north of Tasmania • Projects working closely with local communities

Group exhibitions and curatorial projects are encouraged Emerging artists are encouraged
