DAY TO DAY is a collection of works by a local, up and coming textile artist; Haley Higgins. This exhibition features works that explore the idea of chronic illness; specifically focusing on themes of repetition, accumulation, monotony, fragility and burden. Haley’s unique art making practice, as well as her interesting use of materials, allows her to create works that speak of illness in an unassuming manner; thus allowing the viewer to relate to a topic that might otherwise be irrelevant and off putting.
